The College Marketing & Public Relations Office Can Help

The College Marketing and Public Relations Office will be pleased to answer any questions related to new or existing materials or review copy that represents the college.

Media Relations

Media releases are used when the message from the college must be communicated in a controlled format.

Media release drafts may originate from the College Marketing and Public Relations Office or from departments and organizations. Regardless of origin, any media release representing the College must be received by the Public Relations office for approval and distribution.

Marketing and public relations staff will edit and approve your draft, distribute to the appropriate media contacts and depending on the topic, may choose to use other media relations tools to communicate your message. These tools may include media pitches to news outlets, media alerts, press conferences, or op ed pieces.

You may submit your draft using the Headlines page online. Click on "Submit a News or Event" and follow directions from there.

Advertising

The College Marketing and Public Relations Office serves as the central point for all college advertising activity. Most advertising serves to directly support college enrollment and integrates with scheduling of enrollment events and processes.

Marketing and public relations staff is available to guide and assist individual divisions and departments in preparing advertising efforts that meet specific needs.
