Mission Statement

The Moorhead Community and Technical College Foundation mission is to help students afford their education by building partnerships with businesses, individuals and organizations. The Foundation promotes workforce development by securing equipment, supplies and scholarships to enhance the programs and provide needed financial assistance to qualified M State students. This includes developing annual giving programs, acquiring major gifts and providing direction for the solicitation of gifts.

Foundation History

The Moorhead Community and Technical College Foundation, Inc. (also known as the MCTC Foundation) was created in 1991 and is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws are on record with the secretary, along with minutes of all meetings conducted. An annual contract with the college reaffirms its common goals and commitment. The Foundation works exclusively to support the mission of the M State, Moorhead.

  2. A percent of the estate
  3. The residue left in the estate after completing provisions for family and others
  4. A bequest that is contingent on specific circumstances
  5. Gifts that generate income for you

The Foundation is all about making education available and affordable for those seeking new or improved employment skills and turning dreams into vision and reality for students, staff and donors.
