Welcome to M State! You are on the right path to making good decisions that will have a positive impact on your future. Taking concurrent courses will give you a jump start on your college education, save you money and give you college experience in a high school setting. Below are some helpful resources on how to be a successful student.

Transcript Requests


Visit the M State forms page and click on "Transcript Request" under the "Graduation and Transfer" heading. You will need the most recent version of Java. Your request will be processed within 72 hours.

Computer requirements to utilize M State's interactive forms:

1. All forms utilize the Java program. You can download and install the free Java program at If you have Java, but are not sure you have the most recent version, you can visit the Java test site at

2. Use one of the following Web browsers: IE 8, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.

3. Since Java is not available for mobile devices, our forms cannot be utilized on mobile devices at this time.

4. Clear Web browser history.

If you are applying to another institution within the MnSCU system, you do NOT need to request a transcript online because the college or university will have access to your MnSCU eTranscript. Not sure if the school you are applying to is part of MnSCU? Click here to find out.


Library Cards and StarIDs

M State library cards are mailed to students registered for concurrent enrollment English classes. Any concurrent enrollment student can request a card by emailing Cards provide access to M State library resources and also can be used for free admission to M State athletic and fine arts events on the Fergus Falls campus.

Get Connected to M State's Online Library

Activate your StarID

  • Go to
  • Click on "Activate StarID," and click on it again on the StarID Self Service page.
  • Under "Students," click "Personal Email Address." You will need to enter the same email used on your application to M State. A verification code will be sent to that email.
  • Go to your personal email and retrieve the verification code. The code is valid for only one hour and can be used only once.
  • Copy and paste the code or enter it manually at the MnSCU StarID activation website ( under "Students" and "Verification Code."
  • A StarID will be assigned.
