All new students at M State are required to attend a registration event where you will meet current staff, faculty and students, learn how to become a successful student and register for courses.
All new students who have received an acceptance letter to the college, would like to register for classes for the upcoming semester and have completed the Registration Day RSVP form below.
You will receive important information about the Fergus Falls campus, academic programs, student life activities, on-campus housing, learning services, financial aid and counseling services. You will meet with staff and faculty members who can answer questions about which classes to take, degree requirements and how to be a successful college student. You will finish the day by registering for your classes.
If you have already completed your Accuplacer assessment testing, expect to be on campus from two to four hours. If you intend to complete your Accuplacer assessment on Registration Day, expect to be on campus an additional one to two hours. We recommend that you complete your "Online Orientation" prior to arrival. It can be found at www.minnesota.edu/spartannet.
Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early for check-in and refreshments.
Yes, you will be able to complete your Accuplacer assessment testing on Registration Day. Scores will be immediately available to help with your course registration. If you would like to complete your assessments prior to Registration Day, please sign up at www.minnesota.edu/assessment.
