Network Security

M State's Network Security certificate is designed for students who have industry experience or are nearing completion of a degree in the IT field. The program focuses on general skills related to network security, then expands those skills in focused areas.

Students will review and apply network security practices using multiple operating systems, focusing on areas that include penetration testing, perimeter defense and Web security.

The 18-credit certificate prepares students for CompTIA Security + certification. It's offered on our Detroit Lakes and Moorhead campuses and through eCampus.
