Personal Introduction

As the need for network security grows there is an increasing demand for qualified knowledgeable people to protect companies’ data. My goal as the Computer Network Security lead instructor is to provide students with the knowledge they need to be successful.

I have been a network security practitioner at a major Midwestern financial instruction for seven years and have worked all aspects of network and data security. I also have over 9 years teaching experience at a two year college and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing students reach their full potential.

I hold a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bellevue University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, I also hold several industry certifications including the well respected SANS GSEC security certification; MCSE: Security; Novell CNA; and several CompTia certifications including Security+.
