Personal Introduction

I was always fascinated with the health care industry but I quickly discovered that I really enjoyed the non hands-on patient care duties versus actually caring for patients. At that point, I discovered Medical Records or the newer term Health Information. I am happy to say this career choice was definitely for me. I am also happy to say that the opportunities in the Health Information have never been greater. The constant growth of an aging population with increasing health care needs and the conversion from the paper record to an electronic record has prompted an excellent job market for Health Information Professionals now and in the future. If you have an interest in a medical career without patient care duties, I would be happy to talk with you.
