Accuplacer Assessment Test

M State uses the Accuplacer assessment to help students develop an academic plan that fits their skill levels in reading, writing and mathematics. This assessment allows us to place you in the level of courses where you are most likely to succeed.

With your acceptance letter, the college will notify you if you need to take the Accuplacer assessment.

Testing Options:

  1. Assess at one of our four campus locations: Accuplacer Assessment Sign Up
  2. Assess at any MnSCU Institution: MnSCU Testing Locations
  3. Utilize a proctor: Complete the Accuplacer Assessment Testing Request form.

Please Note:

  • The guidelines for a proctor are on the top of the Accuplacer Assessment Testing Request form. This form needs to be submitted to M State five days before you plan to take the Accuplacer assessment test.
  • When taking the Accuplacer assessment at a MnSCU location you must contact the assessment test coordinator at the location you choose. Your test scores will automatically load into our system, once you have completed the assessment.
