As a student in the Architectural Drafting and Design program on our Detroit Lakes campus, you'll learn the principles of residential and commercial building technology, along with the drafting skills to put them to work in the construction field. A key component is computer-aided drafting, an important tool in the construction industry and design professions. With your CAD skills and background with Revit building design software, you'll be ready for job opportunities.

Civil Engineering Technology

Required credits: 60
Program length: Two years

As a student in the Civil Engineering Technology program, you'll learn a range of skills related to engineering technologies, graphic communication skills and advanced surveying techniques. Our graduates are hired by local public works departments, state agencies such as the Minnesota Department of Transportation, construction companies and consulting engineering companies. Program internships frequently lead to employment opportunities.
