2018-2019 Housing Application

You may apply to live on campus by completing the 2018-19 Fergus Falls Campus Housing Application.

You must make your $200 prepayment to complete your application. Your application will not be processed without the prepayment.

Call the Fergus Falls campus bookstore at (218) 736-1556 with your credit card and student id number handy.

Mail your payment (money order or check) with your student id number in the memo line to:

Fergus Falls MN 56537

Bring (physically carry) cash to the bookstore to make a prepayment in person.

Application Process and Timeline

M State provides affordable student housing. There are options available, but facilities fill up quickly so apply soon to select your desired room choice.

Prepayment Policy

All students are required to make a $200 prepayment to complete the application process. This is not a deposit and is refundable. Applicants forfeit $50 administrative fee if they withdraw their application within 45 days of the start of the term.

  • Returning residents who submit a completed application (form and prepayment) by April 30 are assigned first and will typically have their building and room preferences honored.
  • Returning residents who submit their application after May 01 will have their applications processed in the order they were received along with first time on campus applicants.
  • New student housing applications are processed according to the date of your completed application (form and $200 prepayment).

The M State Fergus Falls Office of Housing and Residential Life will send Housing Assignment Notifications via email in early July for fall term applicants and early December for spring term. Incomplete applications (no prepayment) will not be processed for room assignments.
