Dale began work at M State on the auspicious date of 8-8-88, focusing on recruiting and marketing before he joined the enrollment management team. He is a graduate of M State, earning a degree in Sales and Marketing. One of the changes he's seen during his M State career is an immense improvement in the transferability of credits, both to and from M State, and especially for students who opt to transfer to colleges within the Minnesota State College and Universities system.
"With enrollment limited in some M State programs and career fields competitive, take time to make the right career decision. Research the career fields that interest you, meet with academic advisors and students currently in the programs you're considering, and check out employment and job placement trends."
Dale's interests include the seemingly unrelated pastimes of woodworking and curling because of the strategy and mental concentration that both require.
Contact Alyssa Campion
Alyssa earned her bachelor's and master's degree in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University. Before joining M State in 2011, she worked with many families through Early Childhood Family Education, NDSU Extension, Children's Corner Child Care Center and Cass Clay YMCA.
As the eCampus Enrollment Manager at M State, Alyssa assists prospective students with questions about the college and works with students to successfully navigate the admissions and enrollment process. She enjoys working with eCampus because it offers students the convenience of achieving their educational goals while fitting into their lifestyle.
Dave earned his AA degree from M State in Fergus Falls and his bachelor's degree in communication/public relations from Northwestern College in St. Paul. His advice for prospective students is, first, that reading brochures and visiting websites are convenient ways to begin a college search, but a college visit is the only way to truly experience the culture and atmosphere on a campus. Second, once you've scheduled your college visits, consider both your educational goals and your extracurricular interests when you pick a college.
"College should provide opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. Extracurricular activities provide real-world experiences that can be hard to come by in the classroom."
Outside of work, Dave is most often outdoors. He loves endurance sports and spends his summers competing in triathlons, mountain bike races and half marathons. In June 2013, he completed a 15-day coast-to-coast bike ride to establish a Dream Big Scholarship for Fergus Area College Foundation.
Jessica earned her bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Concordia College in Moorhead and joined the M State enrollment team in 2008.
"The best part of my job is introducing incoming students to M State and watching them get excited about their future. I love showing off the amazing Fergus Falls campus and everything it has to offer."
Jessica lives in Fergus Falls with her husband and children and enjoys cooking, playing Barbies with her daughters and making bad jokes at her husband's expense, and she often can be found talking to anyone with ears.
Richie earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Mayville State University and joined the M State enrollment team in 2013. Richie previously worked in enrollment and admissions at a four-year institution and as an aide at a nursing home.
His advice to prospective students is to carefully research which colleges offer the program they are interested in, match those colleges with the attributes they are looking for in a school, and visit those college campuses. Don't be afraid to ask the enrollment experts questions!
"Fargo-Moorhead is a great community for college students, and M State has a lot to offer: affordable tuition, small class sizes, a variety of technical and specialty programs, and a group of faculty and staff who care about the success of the students."
In his spare time, Richie enjoys long-distance running, taking long walks outdoors and reading about current events and politics.
Laura joined the enrollment team in 2013 after earning a bachelor's degree in public relations and advertising; management communication from North Dakota State University.
She says the best advice she can offer to prospective students is to visit the campus they're planning to attend so they can see the campus in person and have an opportunity to get their questions answered.
"M State is a great place for students who want smaller class sizes, career and technical programs, or a place to earn an associate degree before transferring to a four-year school. My advice to students is to really explore their options. M State has a lot to offer, with convenient schedules, transfer programs and technical degrees that let you start a career in two years or less."
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys traveling, being active, cooking and "anything crafty."
Contact Shannon Britten
Shannon is in her rookie season at M State after earning a bachelor's degree in mass communications at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

"The employer demand for our graduates is remarkable. We get calls all the time from employers asking if we have students to fill their positions … and these are very good-paying careers with outstanding organizations."
In her free time, Shannon enjoys gardening, quilting, cooking, fishing and spending time with her husband and their collie, Rusty.
