ABCT2202 – Unibody/Frame Alignment pdf

Description: This course focuses on safe repair of unitized and conventional frame vehicles. Students study suspension systems and learn procedures for wheel alignment.
Prerequisites: ABCT1104
Corequisites: (None)
  1. Perform unibody measuring procedure using the universal measuring system.
  2. Perform unibody clamping procedures.
  3. Identify frame specification manuals.
  4. Perform measurements using a universit tram gauge.
  5. Identify direct damage on a unibody vehicle.
  6. Identify indirect damage on a unibody vehicle.
  7. Identify full frame damage types.
  8. Perform full frame hold down procedures.
  9. Identify pulling clamps and useage.
  10. Perform unibody frame repair procedures.
  11. Perform wheel alignment equipment set up.
  12. Identify wheel alignment angles.
  13. Perform wheel alignment adjustments to factory specifications.
  14. Identify wheel alignment problems and/or damaged components.
  15. Repair suspension components.
