Description: Meets MnTC Goal Areas 2 and 6F. Students will create original works in a variety of printmaking techniques with emphasis on relief and serigraphy.
Prerequisites: None
Corequisites: None
  1. Examine a variety of artists' print works through books, videos and slides.
  2. Experience and critique (both orally and in writing) other artists' work in a studio, gallery, technological, print or exhibit setting.
  3. Create original works in relief techniques.
  4. Create original works in the serigraph technique.
  5. Create original works in the monoprint/monotype technique.
  6. Participate in class critiques.
  7. Use studio equipment and materials in a safe and responsible manner.
  8. Demonstrate accurate vocabulary of printmaking terms when discussing works.
  9. Analyze and work proficiently with a variety of subject matter.
