Description: Students utilize the content of previous computer and network technology courses to design and implement an information system/networking solution to a business need. Hardware and software projects may include designing, installing, upgrading or expanding a computer network. Students may work on individual projects.

  1. Present a student generated proposal.
  2. Investigate an emerging technology for capabilities, configuration and operation.
  3. Develop 24X7 availability strategies.
  4. Analyze methods for security.
  5. Construct an information system.
  6. Produce deliverables within a pre-determined deadline.
  7. Perform project management for an IT project.
  8. Develop project management documentation.
  9. Perform Industry observations.
