Description: This course covers failure analysis of electrical systems, the recognition of causes of failures and how to interpret a wiring diagram. Lab activities include the troubleshooting of heavy-duty electrical components, testing, inspecting and repair. Electrical meters will be used to diagnose, locate and repair failures. Lab work may include diagnosis, disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and testing of program and customer-owned equipment.
Prerequisites: DSET1100 AND DSET1130
