Description: This course covers fundamental functions of Adobe Illustrator or other vector-based equivalent instructor-designated software to create basic illustrations and layout.

  1. Describe vector-based software.
  2. Recognize and navigate the software interface.
  3. Create, print and save EPS files.
  4. Utilize drawing tools to create objects.
  5. Modify and manipulate objects.
  6. Apply fill and stroke swatches.
  7. Describe layers and drawing order.
  8. Use selection tools to modify paths and anchor points.
  9. Recognize and manipulate bezier points and paths.
  10. Apply path commands.
  11. Utilize the pen tool.
