Description: This course reviews the rules of golf in detail. Students develop a clear understanding of how to navigate the rule book by studying "The Rules of Golf" and "The Decisions on the Rules of Golf." Emphasis is placed on practical hands-on application of the rules and decisions on the golf course. Proper course set-up and marking a golf course for an official USGA event are also discussed. The course prepares students to take the USGA Rules Exam.

  1. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the rules of golf.
  2. Demonstrate proper etiquette and procedures of golf.
