Description: This course is a continuation of the in-depth study of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding and reimbursement in the health care delivery system. Coursework in ICD-10 is included.

  8. Code hospital inpatient case studies.
  9. Identify correct documentation to support ICD code selection.
  10. Verify grouper accuracy.
  11. Identify and validate coding data.
