Description: In this course, students will plan, design and create a professional portfolio using Web technologies. The purpose of the portfolio is to showcase the student's accomplishments in the student's major field and provide the student with a concrete representation of his or her skills and abilities.
Prerequisites: INTD2210

  1. Evaluate employment resources.
  2. Analyze regional employers.
  3. Summarize traits of high quality Web portfolios.
  4. Evaluate portfolio examples.
  5. Critique technical resumes.
  6. Create Web portfolio storyboard.
  7. Evaluate work examples.
  8. Improve work examples.
  9. Write concise narrative of each work example.
  10. Evaluate technical, work habit, and personal skills.
  11. Create a list of keywords that describe technical, work habit and personal skills.
  12. Create written document summarizing technical, work habit and personal skills.
  13. Write technical resume.
  14. Create online portfolio.
  15. Critique fellow student portfolios.
  16. Use critique information to correct and improve portfolio.
  17. Upload portfolio to Web server.
