Description: | This course introduces antepartal, intrapartal, postpartal and neonatal nursing care for the uncomplicated mother and infant. Holistic care and wellness promotion are emphasized, including needs of the family. Nursing care is examined for diverse patients of both genders across the lifespan to maintain and promote reproductive wellness; this includes normal sexuality, management of fertility and reproductive health promotion. Nursing care is examined to maintain and promote wellness for pediatric patients, considering variations based on normal growth and development. |
