Description: This course is a continuation of Research and Writing I. Students will develop skills in identifying, analyzing and researching legal issues. Writing exercises will be more complex, including preparation of legal memoranda.

  2. Analyze case facts.
  3. Analyze court opinions.
  4. Utilize computerized legal research programs.
  5. Analyze the importance of counteranalysis.
  6. Identify the components of legal office memorandum.
  7. Utilize the legal writing process.
  8. Draft legal memorandum(s).
  9. Utilize Shepardizing procedures.
