Description: The purpose of this course is to cover the fundamentals of golf necessary to play at the beginning recreational level. Topics of discussion include rules, etiquette, equipment and terminology. Students will be taught in the classroom and on the golf course. An additional fee will be assessed.

Corequisites: None
  1. Demonstrate knowledge of golf terms, etiquette, rules and equipment in a golf setting.
  2. Develop basic skills of golf upon which one may improve his or her game.
  3. Gain an appreciation of the sport of golf through participation in the class setting and eventually playing the game.
