REFR1113 – Refrigeration Electrical Circuits Fundamentals pdf

Description: This course will consist of the design of electrical drawings and troubleshooting of different refrigeration and heating equipment schematics and wiring diagrams.
Prerequisites: REFR1106 AND REFR1108
Corequisites: (None)
  1. Design schematics for manual and automatic defrost refrigerator systems.
  2. Explain Domestic Ice maker electrical design systems.
  3. Define motor construction and starting methods.
  4. Examine heating and cooling current path.
  5. Distinguish single phase motor protection.
  6. Investigate motor mount designs and nomenclature.
  7. Explain different auxiliary heat circuits.
  8. Compare different fuel heating circuits.
  9. Differentiate air conditioning systems.
