TRNS1006 – Off-Road Vehicle Maintenance pdf

Description: This off-road maintenance course is designed to train the student on techniques of proper maintenance of the off-road vehicle or boat. Students are encouraged to bring their personal recreational vehicle(s), use the up-to-date industry products that we offer or both. Trailer maintenance also will be covered. This is an excellent course for getting off-road equipment and boats ready for the coming winter or spring.

  2. Repair and maintain cooling system wear components.
  3. Perform drive unit lubrication replacement.
  4. Define drive unit lubrication procedures.
  5. Define cooling system repair procedures.
  6. Define fuel system maintenance procedures/components.
  7. Perform fuel system maintenance procedures.
  8. Define battery and cranking system maintenace procedures.
  9. Perform battery and cranking system maintenace procedures.
  10. Outline ignition system maintenance procedures.
  11. Perform ignition system maintenance.
  12. Identify trailer system maintenance procedures.
