What If I want to drop a course? How do I do it and can I get my money back?

Answer

MSCTC allows students to drop courses through the first five days of a term. Students can complete this process on-line through web registration. Full refunds of tuition are only given to courses that are dropped during the drop/add period. If you drop a course after the fifth day you will be required to pay full tuition and will receive a grade of “W”. however, if you completely withdraw from your courses during the 6th and 20th day of a term you will receive a partial refund of your tuition. Refund tuition break-down calculations are available in the Student Handbook. Withdrawing form school after the 5th day of the term can have Financial Aid implications.
