Spartan team sports at M State offer exciting action for both players and spectators. As a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), M State offers intercollegiate women's volleyball, golf, basketball, and softball. The college also offers intercollegiate men's football, golf, basketball, and baseball.

Intercollegiate teams are based on the Fergus Falls campus and are open to participation by all qualifying M State students.

A growing, college-wide intramural program offers additional ways to be a Spartan, including bowling, basketball, soccer, volleyball, ping pong and more.
