First-year head coach Nick Lewis joined the Spartan baseball program as an assistant after spending two seasons at Concordia College in Moorhead, where was also a three-year starting outfielder. He began coaching at the Babe Ruth level and advanced to the American Legion ranks, where his Fergus Falls teams made three consecutive trips to the state tournament while finishing in the top six in 2010 and the top eight in 2011. Lewis is a health and physical education instructor for the Fergus Falls School District.
Jarrod Asmus is in his fifth season at M State. An alumni of M State and North Dakota State University, Asmus knows the commitment required to contend for a national tournament. He brings his talents and passion for baseball to M State after coaching at many levels. He and his wife, Heidi, have three sons, Riley (6), Alex (4) and Jace (1).

Former Spartan Jake Erickson is in his seventh year as an assistant coach at M State. He will fill the role of first base and outfielder coach during the 2015 season. Erickson, a coach the players can rely on for advice and leadership, brings his commitment to coaching and love of the game with him to the field every day. He and his wife, Alli, live in Fergus Falls.
Justin Arneson is in his third season as assistant baseball coach at M State. Arneson will work with the infielders and in all phases of hitting. He brings knowledge and experience to the team after spending five seasons in the Minnesota Twins organization and two seasons as assistant baseball coach at Fergus Falls High School.
