Surgical Technology

You'll be trained to work as an active member of a surgical team in this hands-on associate degree program. With surgical clinicals along with coursework on human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, ethics, medical terminology, and of course surgical technology, you'll have the skills and knowledge to competently assist surgeons throughout the perioperative experience. You will become proficient in the safe preparation and use of surgical equipment, instruments and supplies.

You'll learn:

• Proper procedures for patient safety, asepsis and infection control
• Proficiency in the use of surgical equipment, supplies and instruments
