"I learned about graphic design in sixth grade and wanted to do it ever since. Graphic design marries art with technical design skills to communicate what you’re trying to say, and I love that. 

As a kid, I would always see the M State commercials pop up on TV, and I’d sing the theme song every place I went, so I’ve always wanted to come here. Now that I’m here, I think it’s really great! The Graphic Design teachers are wonderful; I feel like they understand how to make things understandable to students, and they also understand that we’re human. If you have stuff going on in your personal life, they’re willing to listen to you and help you so you can keep going to school. 

After school, I’m hoping to get a job doing card design. There’s a card for every moment of life, I think, and I just want to make something that people identify with and relate to."
