“I chose to attend M State because I wanted to attain my RN license as quickly as possible. I completed my bachelor's degree over a decade ago and always wished I would have gone into nursing. I heard so many good things about the Nursing program at the Detroit Lakes campus and knew this was finally my chance to achieve my dreams. 

I value my fellow students and instructors with my entire being. You become a family very quickly in the Nursing program. It's not for the faint of heart – lots of blood (literally and figuratively), sweat and tears go into this journey, and I am privileged to have the group I now have alongside me. 

I plan to immediately start working as a registered nurse in the lakes area while taking online courses to complete my bachelor of science degree in nursing. M State is making those achievements possible with a nursing program that holds students to the highest regard and standards. From day one, you are pushed to be the best you can be, and reality isn't sugar-coated.”
