Academic Honors Procedure

Purpose Statement

To recognize students for scholastic achievement in college-level courses each semester.

Procedure

1. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness generates academic honors lists.

        1.1 For term-to-term awards, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness generates a list of students and determines eligibility 1-2 weeks following the end of the term

        1.2 For graduates, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness generates a list of students and determine eligibility three weeks following the end of the term

2. Strategic Communications and Marketing corresponds with students via letters

3. Associate registrars will clarify questions from students about not meeting eligibility
