Camp fast facts
- Camp hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Attendance is mandatory each day.
- Applicants must be 15-20 years of age when the camp begins.
- Camp registration fee is $200. Financial assistance may be available. See Herdina Camp Application for more information.
- Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed for acceptance on a first come, first served basis.
Experience the trades industry
Each day, campers will get hands-on experience and classroom instruction in a variety of specialty occupations within the residential and commercial construction industry. Work side-by-side with contractors and other industry professionals to learn about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for a rewarding career in the construction trades.
College scholarship opportunities
Eligible campers will be invited to complete the college scholarship application during camp. Scholarship recipients will be announced at camp graduation.

Herdina Camp sponsors include Minnesota State Community and Technical College, the Building Industry Association of the RRV, and Home Builders Care of Fargo Moorhead Foundation.
