The Global and Intercultural Studies certificate offers degree-seeking M State students the opportunity to better understand our ever-changing, always-growing, diverse world; it also meets elective course requirements for their associate degree programs. It must be embedded within an existing degree path and is not a standalone program.
The certificate can be completed online and combines courses from multiple disciplines, so you can build a sequence of courses that explore your own personal interests. Course options include Intercultural Communication, World Regional Geography, Native American Culture, Global Perspectives of Women, Comparative Government, Global Politics, Religion in the Humanities, Introduction to Anthropology and others.
Upon completion, you'll have an edge in the job market, as this certificate demonstrates an awareness of global perspective and the ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
