Warning: What does it mean?
The registrar's and financial aid offices at M State evaluate each student's record after each term (fall, spring and summer) to determine if the student has met the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy.
A warning status occurs after one semester of not meeting the college's cumulative grade point average (GPA) and completion percentage standards. Credits transferred to M State are calculated in a student's completion percentage.
Reinstatement to good standing of students on warning status
If, at the end of the warning period, a student who has been on warning status has met both the cumulative GPA and completion percentage standards, the warning status is ended and the student is returned to good standing.
