M State in Baudette
In addition to the training field at its Wadena campus, M State is also very proud of its Electrical Lineworker training facility in the northern Minnesota community of Baudette. Due to increasing market demand and with incredible industry support, M State was able to develop an outstanding 30-acre training center with a 7,200-square-foot lab in the midst of an outdoor paradise. Students in Baudette will have the same learning opportunities and hands-on training as students in the lineworker program in Wadena while enjoying Lake of the Woods, one of the greatest fisheries in North America and the proclaimed Walleye Capital of the World.
The welcoming community of Wadena has a small-town atmosphere with the attractions of a larger community. Located at the gateway to Minnesota lakes country, it has many options for outdoor recreation and community involvement.
Personal services: Get the degree you need to succeed in a variety of personal service careers including Cosmetology, Manicurist, Esthetics and Massage Therapy.
Technical: Develop the skills for a rewarding career by earning a degree in Construction Electricity, Electrical Line Worker, Network Technology Administration, Industrial Maintenance or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
The AA degree, also called a Transfer Degree, is excellent preparation for continued studies in the arts, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences and social sciences. By earning an AA degree, students fulfill the first two years of most four-year degree programs at the state universities in Minnesota, the University of Minnesota and many other private and public institutions.
