M State partners with schools, educators and students to make it easy to take courses in high school, on M State campuses and online. Explore our options below and make college possible now!
Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP)
Learn in high school from a qualified teacher
M State offers high-quality, rigorous college courses taught in high schools through our nationally accredited Concurrent Enrollment Program.
Through CEP:
- College courses are offered in right in the student's high school
- Courses are taught by a qualified high school teacher
- There's no cost to the student
- Students gain exposure to high expectations and challenging courses
- Students gain momentum by earning college credits while still in high school
Students who successfully complete these courses receive both high school and transcripted college credit from M State!
eCampus in the High School (eCHS)
Learn online from M State instructors
M State's eCampus in the High School (eCHS) offers challenging, engaging online courses to eligible Minnesota high school students. Courses apply to several goal areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum and technical course options.
eCHS features include:
- College credits offered at no cost to the student
- Scheduled time in high school for students to complete college coursework
- On-site key contacts at each high school
- A user-friendly application and registration process
- Student advising
- Direct student and high school support available by phone and email
Postsecondary Enrollment Options program (PSEO)
Learn at M State or online
- College credits offered at no cost to the student
- Completing college courses in high school means it will take you less time to earn your degree after high school
- Explore new subjects - college courses offer a greater variety of choices
- Challenge yourself - college courses offer a challenging and rewarding educational experience
Early College/Middle College
The Early College/Middle College (EC/MC) program enables Minnesota high school students who are enrolled in an Area Learning Center to complete college classes as part of their high school curriculum.
The classes can count toward high school graduation requirements and satisfy some requirements for a college degree.

TRIO Program
TRIO helps students explore options, prepare for college, and continue to be successful once enrolled.
TRIO can help with:
