Medical Coding

Graduates of M State's Medical Coding program may be eligible to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification exams through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

There are no state requirements for employment, therefore it is determined that this program meets state licensure requirements. Please note, students are encouraged to inquire at the time of application regarding the employer's policy, as they may require certification before the first year of employment is complete.
