Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP)

Learn in high school from a qualified teacher

M State offers high-quality, rigorous college courses taught in high schools through our nationally accredited Concurrent Enrollment Program.

Through CEP:

  • College courses are offered in right in the student's high school
  • Courses are taught by a qualified high school teacher
  • There's no cost to the student
  • Students gain exposure to high expectations and challenging courses
  • Students gain momentum by earning college credits while still in high school

Students who successfully complete these courses receive both high school and transcripted college credit from M State!

Postsecondary Enrollment Options program (PSEO)

Learn at M State or online

The Postsecondary Enrollment Options program (PSEO) allows academically qualified high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college-level courses at M State and earn both high school and college credit.
  • College credits offered at no cost to the student
  • Completing college courses in high school means it will take you less time to earn your degree after high school
  • Explore new subjects - college courses offer a greater variety of choices
  • Challenge yourself - college courses offer a challenging and rewarding educational experience

Early College/Middle College

The Early College/Middle College (EC/MC) program enables Minnesota high school students who are enrolled in an Area Learning Center to complete college classes as part of their high school curriculum.

The classes can count toward high school graduation requirements and satisfy some requirements for a college degree.

Contact your Area Learning Center school counselor today to learn how to enroll!
