Grades
Unless otherwise noted on a course outline, courses offered at M State are graded on a scale of A, B, C, D or F. The Grading Policy explains how GPA is calculated.
Some courses are identified as being graded on a Credit/No Credit basis. In addition, any Credit for Prior Learning (including credit by exam or portfolio reviews) will be graded on a Credit/No Credit basis. Students earn CR or NC grades for these courses, and the grades are not factored into the student's GPA.
Other grade designations used by M State include AU (Audit), FN (failure for non-attendance), FW (unofficial withdrawal) and W (withdrawal). More information about these grades and what they mean can be found in the Grading Policy.
