Project Purpose

To acquire a product that will host an online orientation for new and returning students to M State. The online orientation will serve as a piece of the student onboarding process that will create an experience for students, whether land-based, online or a combination of both.

A functional online orientation with single sign on for students that features text, photos, and videos of all four M State campuses that creates a positive experience for students in the on-boarding process.

  • Collaborate with Business Services to create RFP, review proposals, select and contract with vendor
  • Create and launch online orientation experience for new and returning students (goal - Spring 2023 launch)
  • Complement registration events and Spartan Welcome Days
  • Assemble a team of stakeholders/leaders to review & rate responses to RFP for vendor selection

  • Create a student feedback survey to be completed at end/completion of online orientation
