Library Reference Policy

Policy

Members of the library staff are committed to providing excellent reference services to students, faculty and other patrons. The primary objective of the library staff is to effectively match patron needs and requests for information with the appropriate resources. The style and the delivery of reference service provided by the library staff is an extension of their commitment to teaching. Reference service provided by the staff will, whenever needed or feasible, provide patrons with one-on-one instruction in the use of information resources.
