Title

Early Alert

An early alert is a way for M State instructors to report concerns about a student's attendance or to identify students who are having difficulty in their courses(s).

An early alert may be issued when:
  • A student has not been attending class regularly or has had several absences
  • A student has not turned in assignments
  • A student receives poor grades on assignments, quizzes or exams
If you have received an early alert, we urge you to talk with the instructor and discuss the options for improving your performance.
