"I originally went to M State in Fergus Falls for Sports Management but couldn’t really see myself doing that long-term. I started working with my dad, doing a little carpentry, and I liked it and kept on doing it. I decided to go to college for it, and came back to M State because I like the school. It’s affordable and I like two-year programs. I’d always liked the business side of things, too, so this program seemed perfect, with the construction bit along with the management part.
The program’s good; you learn everything from A to Z and I liked all the computer classes, drawing plans, meeting some good people in the classroom, and the teachers. Being in the Fargo-Moorhead area is good, too, as it’s a bigger city and there are a lot of opportunities.
I worked at Roers Construction in Fargo as a carpenter during school, and I plan to keep working in Fargo for at least a while."
