Success Navigators

Success navigators are available on campus and online to help incoming students transition to college.

Starting college can be overwhelming, so M State success navigators are here to provide support. Our team is a point of contact for first-year students who have questions or concerns. We aim to help students navigate M State so they can be successful. First-year students can expect our team to check in with them throughout the year.

Ways we serve students: 

• We help students find resources to prepare for college
• We keep students up to date with opportunities on and off campus
• We assist students with career assessment and exploration to align their major with their interests and career goals
  • Start at Focus2Career, a career, major and education planner! Access code is "mstate"
• We mentor students who are learning to navigate college systems and processes including technology, paying for college, D2L (online learning platform), and more
