Ellia Soydara has made M State history as the first Spartan women’s golfer to earn national championship honors.
The team has placed within the top five in 11 of the past 12 championships.
Tungseth, who was an outside hitter for the Lady Spartans from 2015 to 2017, will also serve as the Assistant Student Life Director at M State’s Fergus Falls campus.
The college named 480 students to the President's List and 531 students to the Dean's List.
“The Masons are a great community organization, and the breakfasts give us students a great opportunity to grow relationships within the Moorhead community, which some of us may be working in at the end of our college education,” says Lydia Moore, an M State Criminal Justice student and Pancake Breakfast volunteer. “Plus, the pancakes are amazing, so that’s a bonus!”
Cole Riegert is a two-time consecutive gold medalist after this year’s state event and is now headed to nationals, while James Bergren, a PSEO student at M State, took third place in the high school division.
On Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., M State’s Moorhead campus will host FM Recharge, a free and open-to-the-public electric vehicle test drive and expo event.
Coaches handed out individual and team awards, and the night was capped off with the announcement of the 2024 Coaches Award winners and Male and Female Student Athletes of the Year.
The conference will be held on the M State-Moorhead campus on Friday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Healthcare professionals can earn four contact hours by participating.
Themes of time will be explored in the Sunday, April 21 choir and band show on the Fergus Falls campus. The performance begins at 1:30 p.m.
