With a Medical Coding diploma from M State, you'll support excellence in medical care by assigning medical diagnoses and procedure codes to patient records. This valuable data is used for medical billing, research, reporting, statistics and more. 

Qualify for national certification

As a program graduate, you'll be eligible to take the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) or the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) national exams to boost your career potential!

Pathway to an associate degree

M State makes it easy to continue and expand your education! As a Medical Coding diploma graduate, you can take additional courses to earn an associate degree in M State’s nationally accredited Health Information Technology/Coding program

Health Information Technology/Coding graduates can qualify to take the Registered Health Information Technician certification exam through the American Health Information Management Association.
